Monchiero Dinner
In the heart of Barolo country, the Monchiero family's wine story began in the 1950s with brothers Remo and Maggiorino in Castiglione Falletto. Initially grape sellers, they evolved into vintners, bottling the "gold" of Langa - Barolo by the 70s. The 80s saw Vittorio, Maggiorino's son, infuse the family venture with his viticulture education and global ambitions. In the 21st century his sons, Luca and Stefano, joined, ensuring the family's deep-rooted passion for Barolo thrives for generations.
Meet the winemaker, tour, and enjoy a 5-course meal of local Piedmont dishes prepared on-site by our chef.

De’Ricci Paired Dinner
Tuscany - Montepulciano
In the tapestry of Italian history, the Ricci family emerged in 1150, leaving a lasting legacy with the construction of the splendid Renaissance Palazzo Ricci in Montepulciano. Cardinal Giovanni Ricci, a man of vision, commissioned the palace in 1534, enlisting the renowned architect Baldassarre Peruzzi, culminating in its completion in 1562. Nestled within this architectural marvel lay the Cantina de'Ricci, a winery built upon medieval foundations, respecting the ancient Montepulciano wine-making traditions of 1337. In a twist of fate and fashion, 1959 marked a new chapter as Marquis Giulio Ricci transformed it into "Cantina Redi," a name that resonates with the enduring legacy of the wine.
Meet the winemaker, tour the Roman-Gothic Cathedral, and then enjoy a 5-course meal with local Tuscan dishes prepared on-site by our chef. These dishes pair perfectly with the Sansy, Rosso di Montepulciano, Nobile, Il Vignone, and Super Tuscan that our guests will enjoy!
